
On Saturday, June 23rd, 1290 The Ticket and 1410 WDOV will broadcast the 57th annual DFRC Blue-Gold All*Star Football Game. The Blue Gold All*Star Game has become a respected Delaware tradition. The game features some of the best high school athletes in the state. Every year, individuals from all over the state gather at Delaware Stadium to enjoy the game and surrounding activities. Of greater significance, the game bring much needed awareness and funds programs that assist Delawareans with intellectual disABILITIES.
For the 3rd consecutive season, broadcast coverage will begin at 6pm live outside of Delaware Stadium in Newark, as Scott Klatzkin and Bill Harman host the Glasgow Medical Aid Units Pre-Game Show. Klatzkin and Harman will review the 2011 High School Football season and preview the All-Star Game and festivities. The pre-game show will also feature exclusive interviews with the head coaches from both teams. At 7pm, the game will kick off and can be heard on 1290AM, 1410AM, 1290theticket.com and WDOV.com, as well as on the iHeartRadio app on any smartphone.
1290 The Ticket Offensive Player of the Year, Taylor Reynolds of Newark, and 2011 Championship Game MVP, Jordan Griffin of Middletown, will lead the Gold team against 1290 The Ticket 2012 Most Valuable Player, Eric Patton of St. Elizabeth, and the Blue Team.
