In one of the most exciting games in 1290 The Ticket Game of the Week broadcast history, the Saint Elizabeth Vikings defeated the #10 ranked Wilmington Friends Quakers 61-59. Andre Patton led all scorers with 28 points and became just the second player all-time to win a Crown Trophy Player of the Game Award in both football and basketball! The game featured several amazing dunks from the Quakers' Malcolm Delpeche and big time baskets from Friends' point guard, Larenz Thurman, but Patton's season high 5 three pointers were too much to handle.
It was the final High School broadcast before the New Year... Happy Holidays!
